Richard Goldman, COO:

Richard Goldman joined Birkman in 2006 in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity he is responsible for the financial and business operations of the enterprise. Also, he is involved with strategic initiatives and sales and marketing efforts. Previously, Richard was CEO of Centricon HRA, a HR outsourcing firm based in Houston, Texas, focused on middle market companies. Earlier, he was co-CEO and President of Gevity HR (NASD: GVHR), a leading Professional Employer Organization based in Florida. While with Gevity HR, Richard was appointed by Governors Lawton Chiles and Jeb Bush to the Florida Board of Employee Leasing, where he made a lasting mark on the industry by drafting regulations and successfully lobbying for important legislation. His extensive business background is complemented by a 15 year career as an attorney in New York City. He was an equity partner of the Dechert firm, an international law firm, where his practice focused on securities offerings, leveraged buyout transactions, transnational transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
