Birkman Complies with Safe Harbor Framework for Data Protection
Birkman International, Inc., Houston, TX - October 25, 2006 - Birkman International, Inc., a leading provider of behavioral assessments, announced that it is in compliance with the U.S. Department of Commerce Safe Harbor framework for the protection of personal data generated within the member states of the European Union. The Safe Harbor was established by the U.S. Department of Commerce to allow U.S. companies to meet the requirements of the EU's data privacy directives and to ensure the free flow of data and the effective protection of personal information across international boundaries.
